We are a growth-hungry team of 13(ish) strategists,
analysts, creators and communicators.

What do we do?

We are a Direct Response, Digital Advertising Agency.
We create digital advertising campaigns that make people money.
If it doesn’t directly make our clients money, or it can’t be tracked, we don’t do it.

How we got here:

17 years learning what works (& what doesn’t).

Bambrick Media started in 1999 when one of our directors, Tim, was at Uni during the day, getting a formal education on how marketing and systems can really help businesses.

Meanwhile, at night, he was working at the Brisbane Fruit Markets, getting an informal education on how the lack of marketing and systems can hurt businesses.

They were good businesses, run by good people. They were excellent operators, great at relationships, good with finance and knew everything there was to know about fruit and veg… just not about marketing.

Bambrick Media started in an effort to help these good businesses become great, using marketing to take them to the next level.

For the next 10 years, Bambrick Media helped over 300 companies to take their marketing and their businesses to the next level. Over that time a few key things changed…

  • Having a good brand went from ‘nice to have’, to the accepted norm.
  • Websites shifted from “Sounds complicated, why would I want one of those?” to “Yeah, my 12-year-old niece built our website.”
  • The dominant conversation with our customers became “Yeah, I have a website and we spend all this money on advertising in the Yellow Pages and the newspaper, but none of it works anymore.”

This frustrated Tim, as the goal had always been to use marketing to grow businesses, but in this disruptive time of structural change, most companies were wasting money on outdated strategies that just didn’t work anymore.

While all this was going down, a close friend of Tim’s was seeing this change from another perspective.

Jason had previously set up a number of other successful marketing companies and was now working with Sensis, Australia’s largest advertising company.

He was trying to help them shift from being one of those outdated strategies to becoming a successful Digital Marketing agency. Some old dogs want to learn new tricks and others don’t.

In 2012 Jason left Sensis to partner with Tim in Bambrick Media. Over the last 5 years, Tim, Jason & the team at Bambrick Media have continued to help businesses grow by cutting outdated strategies that don’t work and reinvesting in strategies that are relevant and engaging for today’s digital consumers.

Where we're going:

We believe things are changing faster than people realise.

We believe that the full effect of “Digital Disruption” on Businesses and Advertising is only just beginning.

We believe in the next 10 years, the importance and value of Digital Marketing is only going to continue to increase at an exponential rate.

With complexity, comes opportunity.

Some businesses have the revenue to justify a full-time team of 20 Digital Marketers to help them capitalise on it, others don’t. This is where we come in.

We have been putting together some of the best Digital Marketing Consultants in the country, in order to give all business access to the same strategies and same high level of return on investment.

As the importance & value of Digital Marketing continues to grow, so will we.
But we don’t want to be the biggest. We don’t buy the old model of biggest is best.
We believe being ‘the best’ is about creating the most value.
